My Teaching Philosophy

Courses Taught

I believe that the sociological imagination changes how we experience and interact with the world. When we use our sociological imagination and critical thinking skills in tandem, we can shape the world for the better, no matter our discipline or area of interest. My goals as an instructor are to engage, equip, and enable students to master course materials, analyze their lived experiences, and improve their understanding of how inequality is created and perpetuated in society.
